The Lodge

Undergoing Renovations

Opening Late 2022

"The Lodge" was built as the farmhouse by dairy farmer Heikki “Henry” M. and his son Joseph in 1932. In later years it's served as the eating and relaxing spot after a long day hiking, shoeing, fishing and just contemplating nature. It's large welcoming fireplace is the centerpiece of the home and adjoins the open great room and dinning area with a reclaimed barnwood table that comfortably seats 12 hungry adventurers.

In 2022 we'll be modernizing the kitchen and freshening up the paint. This is a charming old home and we're working hard to keep the charm and ensure your comfort. The Lodge will sleep a total of 11 with two in a private bedroom and up to nine in a "Walton's" style second floor. There is a half bathroom upstairs and we're renovating the bathroom in the basement to a Northwoods spa style with a huge shower and full redwood woodfired sauna that seats 4 consenting adults.
